Hawk Tale Player

The Hawk Tale Players began in Spring of 2013. These performers transform personal interviews with local residents into interactive one-person shows to promote the importance of listening to and valuing the experiences of others and to foster a love for storytelling and theatre.

The Hawk Tale Players create 5-8 minute interactive monologues to perform for grades 2-6. Student performers rotate through 2nd-6th grade classrooms for up to 60 minutes between 12:30-2:30 on Wednesdays. All performers are enrolled in Com 413 and manage the website, videoing, and social media sites in addition to performing with the troupe

HAWK TALE PLAYERS

The Hawk Tale Players create 5-8 minute interactive monologues to perform for grades 2-6. Student performers rotate through 2nd-6th grade classrooms for up to 60 minutes between 12:30-2:30 on Wednesdays. While the Hawk Tale Players are open to performing for any group, we prioritize Title 1 schools in our performance groups. All performers are enrolled in Com 413 and manage the website, video recording, and social media sites in addition to performing with the troupe
